Recipes used by Crazy lady

Snicker-doodles

1 cup softened butter

1 cup  Crisco

1 cup powder sugar

1 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 teaspoon cream of tartar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

4 eggs

4-6 cups of flour

Blend everything but eggs and flour then add eggs and 4 cups of flour if dough is not stiff add more flour some then chill for 4-8 hours or more. Roll walnut size balls in cinnamon-sugar mix then bake 11-13 minutes at 375-400

 

You can use this  same dough for roll out sugar cookies or just sugar cookies by rolling the dough in powder sugar before baking

 

Hot Fudge Cake

 1 3/4 cups packed brown sugar

1 cup flour

6 tablespoon baking cocoa

2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup milk

2 tablespoon butter-melted

1/2 teaspoon vanilla 

1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

1 3/4 cups boiling water

vanilla ice cream

In a small bowl, combine 1 cup brown sugar, flour, 3 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Add the milk, butter and vanilla; spread evenly in a 3qt slow cooker cover with cooking spray the sprinkle with chocolate chips. Then combine the remaining brown sugar and cocoa and stir in the boiling water and pour of batter (do not stir in). Cover and cook on low/high depending on you crock pot for 3-4 hours watch if you start smelling the fudge you can add coffee to moisten the cake before serving. Serve warm with ice cream

Monster Cookies
2c white sugar
4c brown sugar
1c softened butter
1t  vanilla
4t soda
1.5# peanut butter
      ( I use the chunky)
6-7 eggs
10-12c quick oatmeal
(1-2c soy flour only if you want thicker cookies)
white chocolate chips
milk chocolate chips
butterscotch chips
m&m mini or regular

Blend everything but the eggs, oatmeal, chips, flour together then add the eggs and oatmeal, finally the chips and flour if you wish.

drop onto cookie sheet and bake at 375-400 for 11-13 minutes

This recipe is the first of the glutten free recipes I hope to add to the site
